Volunteer Responsibilities

I wish to volunteer for EcoFair360, presented by the Eco-Vision Sustainable Learning Center (‘ESLC’) on July 8-10, 2011. I hereby agree to donate and offer my personal services and labor, free of charge, to ESLC. I understand and agree that I am not an employee of ESLC and that I am not entitled to any wages and/or benefits associated with my services.

I understand and agree to adhere by ESLC policies, as established in the Volunteer Handbook, and will not conduct myself in actions that may discriminate against or harass others. If for any reason I believe that my working as a volunteer for ESLC might endanger myself or others, or if I have knowledge of or suspect any dishonest, deceptive, illegal or unethical activities, I must report this to agents of ESLC immediately at the site. If I encounter an injured person, I should not attempt to provide medical attention to the person, unless I am a licensed medical professional. I must notify the ESLC immediately if this situation arises.

I understand that, as a volunteer, I may become privy to confidential information about ESLC. I agree to maintain the confidentiality of any information as well as any information about the internal procedures, business operations, existing or prospective donor information, proprietary business information, personnel information and the like that is not otherwise publicly disclosed by ESLC. I will avoid any actions that might impair the reputation of the ESLC.

Release and Waiver of Liability

I understand that the nature of volunteer activities that I may perform in my capacity as a volunteer may involve physical activity, contact with unidentified and/or unfamiliar persons, or other potential risk of bodily injury or damage to property. I acknowledge this list is not inclusive of all possible risks and in no way limits the extent or reach of this Waiver.

I further agree to release and forever discharge EcoFair360, The Eco-Vision Sustainable Learning Center, Inc. and their directors, officers, employees and agents, as well as the Walworth County Fairgrounds and the Walworth County Agricultural Society, Inc. of and from any and all actions, claims, and demands, known or unknown, which I have or may have in the future arising out of volunteering for ESLC . I understand that this Release discharges ESLC for any liability or claim that I may have against ESLC with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death or property damage that may result from my activities with ESLC. I understand that ESLC does not assume any responsibility for or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including but not limited to medical, health, or disability insurance in the event of injury or illness.

I acknowledge, by signing this form, that I have read this Release and understand that this Release may be pled as a complete bar and defense to any action or other proceedings instituted or filed by myself on account of any matter contained herein.

I do hereby grant and convey unto ESLC all right, title and interest in any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by ESLC during my work for ESLC, including, but not limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such photographs or recordings.
