- Earned a Bachelor of Science Degree: University of Wisconsin - Biology Major/Chemistry Minor
- Employed as a Chemist for Iowa - Illinois Gas and Electric
- Earned a Teaching Degree - University of Wisconsin - Broadfield Science Major
- Taught High School Chemistry, Physics and Biology: Badger High School, Lake Geneva, WI for ten years
- Created The Science Alliance in 1990 and pledged to get kids inspired to explore science BEFORE High School
- Has educated and inspired hundreds of thousands of kinds since beginning his teaching career in 1980
