Greening the Fair!

 GREENING THE FAIR

At EcoFair360, we’re “walkin’ the walk” – taking extra care and effort to make certain that we provide a sustainable event experience from the time spent in our offices to your time spent at the Fair.

LEAVE NO TRACE
As an EcoFair360 policy, we ask that you join us in making this Fair a minimal impact event. All Fair participants and visitors are asked to clean up and protect the fairgrounds from any trash or negative impact by recycling appropriately whenever possible.

ECOFAIR360 IS A TRAVEL GREEN WISCONSIN CERTIFIED DESTINATION

Travel Green Wisconsin has recognized EcoFair360 as a recipient of the Travel Green Certification. To achieve Travel Green certification, EcoFair360 met goals including reduction of waste through reuse and recycling, water conservation and wastewater management, energy efficiency, benefitting the local community and local farms and food providers, landscape conservation, and encouraging  alternative transportation.

In addition, EcoFair360 purchases Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to offset 100% of the electricity used over the three days of the fair. The REC’s are purchased from one of our Fair sponsors, Community Green Energy, LLC.

Travel Green Wisconsin is a voluntary program that reviews, certifies and recognizes attractions in Wisconsin that have made a commitment to reduce their environmental impact. For more information on Travel Green Wisconsin, visit www.travelgreenwisconsin.com.
