The Ideas Behind the Jefferson Business Center

The Business Center is a hands-on show place for sustainable remodeling, working and living.  The livable working space is created by the use of: a 60 foot light spine, sky lighted atrium area, 99 photo voltaic panels, resurfaced hardwood flooring through out, high quality, long lasting building material and geo-thermal cooling from the lower level through the use of a "new" old fashioned fan system.  Because of the energy savings brought about through the use of these sustainable practices, Lewis is able to provide free utilities to all the Business Center's partner tenants.
